Sewer Division

The Sewer Division of the Department of Public Works is responsible for the maintenance of 51.1 miles of sanitary mains, 47 miles of storm main, sanitary manholes and storm structures for 3,400 residential and commercial customers.

Staffing for this division currently includes three full-time staff members, as well as clerical support:

  • Jeff Bowe - Sewer Trouble Shooter
    • PACP Certified for sanitary pipeline assessment
    • S-3 Certified Drinking Operator - this level of certification confirms the operator is eligible to manage a public water distribution system with a population from 1,000 to 4,000
  • Brent Hershberger - Sewer Division Equipment Operator II
    • S-2 Certified Drinking Operator - this level of certification confirms the operator is eligible to manage a public water distribution system with a population from 4,000 – 20,000
    • PACP Certified for sanitary pipeline assessment
    • D-4 Certification, Limited Treatment for a population no greater than 1,000
