Jr. Counselor Program
Learn, Inspire, & Lead!
This program is designed for students entering 7th-9th grades in the fall of 2023 who are interested in learning the ins and outs of being a Day Camp Counselor! Participants will be assigned a Counselor to shadow and aid throughout the week. A leadership activity will be conducted each week for the Jr. Counselors to participate in as well as complete an evaluation at the end of the week to continue to grow throughout the summer!
Participants will be able to choose weeks of participation following Jr. Counselor Training (TBD). At that time, an invoice will be created in the Jr. Counselor's name and will be due by their first day of camp. participants are expected to be present during normal camp hours, 9a-3p, each day of the week they sign up for.
Jr. Counselor's will be traveling with their respective camp to and from any field trips and will be expected to participate in any crafts, games, activities, and swimming alongside their assigned Counselor.
A one-time registration fee of $40 is required to cover the Jr. Counselor's cost of T-shirts and supplies. $15 per week of participation will be added to an invoice after Jr. Counselor Training (TBD). This weekly cost will cover the Jr. Counselor's cost on field trips.
