Ballot Proposal - November 2021
On November 2, 2021, City voters will be asked whether the City shall adopt an initiated ordinance to completely prohibit recreational marihuana establishments within the City under Section 6 of the Michigan Regulation and Taxation of Marihuana Act. This initiated ordinance, if approved by the voters, would alter or abrogate the existing chapter 69 of the City Code of Ordinances, under which marihuana establishment licenses have previously been granted.
