Lapeer Housing Commission

The Lapeer Housing Commission is a Public Housing Authority whose main objective is to assist low-income families with safe, decent, and affordable housing opportunities as they strive to achieve self-sufficiency and improve the quality of their lives.  The Lapeer Housing Commission administers both the Housing Choice Voucher rental subsidy program within the City of Lapeer jurisdiction and the Project Based Voucher rental subsidy program at Lapeer Riverview Towers, LLC, a 60 unit independent living senior apartment complex located in downtown Lapeer.  These programs are both funded and regulated by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

The Lapeer Housing Commission holds a board meeting every month on the 3rd Thursday at 4:00pm immediately following Lapeer Neighborhoods, Inc. in the 2nd floor meeting room at Lapeer City Hall, 576 Liberty Park, Lapeer, MI 48446.
