ISO Rating
This is the classification rating (1-10) used by most insurance companies to determine
what to charge for homeowners and business related insurance. It
is based on the way the fire department receives/dispatches fire
responses (911/countywide Central Dispatch), available water supplies, and fire department manpower/equipment/training. We currently have an ISO rating of 5 in the City, with varying ranges of 5-10 in the townships.
