Adult/Senior Aquatic Details:
Teen/Adult Learn to Swim
This class is designed for people who want to learn beginning
swim skills in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.

Teen/Adult
Stroke Development
This class is designed to review basic swim skills already learned.
Further development of front crawl, back crawl, elementary backstroke
and sidestroke will be covered.

Teen/Adult Stroke Refinement
This class is designed for intermediate swimmers who would like
to improve their strokes and be introduced to the breastroke
and butterfly. This course will also develop endurance and is
an excellent preparation for Lifeguard Training and Water Safety
Instructor courses.

Water Walking Workout
Buoyancy and resistance make water walking both challenging and easy on the joints. The buoyancy of the water supports your weight, reducing the stress on your weight bearing joints. Meanwhile, the resistance of the water as you push your way through gives your muscles a workout. Requires no swimming skills, water shoes recommended.

Master’s Swim Club
Participate in this national program for the adult swimmer 19
yrs. and older. Improve your strokes, speed & endurance.
Competition with other clubs is available but not required.

Lifeguard Training
This American Red Cross course will teach the candidate the skills
and knowledge needed to prevent and respond to aquatic emergencies.
The course also includes CPR and First Aid certification. This
is one of the nationally recognized courses required to be
a lifeguard. To achieve certification, the candidate must pass
the written test with a minimum of 80%, pass the skills test
and must attend all classes

Water
Safety Instructor (W.S.I.)
This course trains you to teach the American Red Cross Learn
to Swim program. To become certified you must attend all classes,
pass all swimming skills, and pass the written test with a minimum
of 80%.

Aquacise
Exercise without wear and tear on your body. Using the natural
resistance of the water is an enjoyable way to get or stay
in shape. Swimming skills are not necessary to share in the
benefits of flexibility, muscular toning, and cardiovascular
fitness. Space is limited.

Tuff Stuff Aquacise
This class offers the same benefits of our regular Aquacise but
at a much faster pace. You’ll leave feeling invigorated and
physically fit. Swimming skills are necessary for this class
including the ability to swim one length of the pool.

Deep Water Aquacise
A totally deep water class utilizing a non-impact
aerobic workout. Aqua belts are provided.
Top Senior/Adapted Aquacise
Senior/Adapted Aquacise may be an exercise program
designed just for you. All of the exercises are
done in the shallow water for joint mobility,
flexibility and strength. Due to the buoyancy
of the water there is less pressure on the joints.
No swimming ability necessary.

Core Strengthening Aquacise
Join us and learn how to keep that pep in your step, the Aquatic way! This class will challenge all the muscles around your torso by improving and/or maintaining your core strength, stability, agility, and balance with and without different types of equiment using a wide range of moves learned over two days.
