Land Divisions
The Assessor's office processes land division and combination applications.
A division of land request requires the approval of the City of Lapeer before sale closings or land transactions. An approval requires compliance with the Land Division Act (Public Act 591 of 1996 of the State of Michigan) and all relevant City ordinances. Combinations of parcels also need to meet these requirements.
